About A Mother's Love Childcare
A Mother's Love Childcare was founded in 2008 after Ms. Brandi, a Degreed Teacher and Mother, was upset by the quality of education, as well as the lack of love and attention her own children were receiving, by a larger childcare center. She knew that other parents felt the same way and she began her own licensed childcare home.  Then after 10 years in business, A Mother's Love Childcare expanded into a facility!

A Mother's Love Childcare utilizes an emergent learning process where each day is structured but with room for change!  Each day includes work time, circle times, outside play and choices of free play to name just a few! Our program provides the right balance of child-initiated and teacher-initiated activities that allow children of all ages to succeed and develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.  Our curriculum is designed for the individual child in mind to match their developmental needs.  Our theme-based curriculum rotates each month and will help get your child ready to meet their developmental milestones!

Brandi Nelson has been working with children for over twenty years. Her passion for children began as the oldest of four siblings. She is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and has been living in Texas since 2004 with her husband and three children.  In her spare time, Brandi enjoys watching her children play baseball, golf and softball.

Brandi decided to pursue a career in Education by attending the University of Western Ontario in Ontario, Canada where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English and French. She then continued her education by acquiring her Post-Graduate Degree in Education.  Brandi began teaching public school and taught a variety of ages including Kindergarten through ninth grade. Upon moving to Texas she began her transition into Early Childhood Education by accepting a position in Management as a Master Teacher and Staff Trainer at a large Childcare center chain. She then began teaching Private Kindergarten before founding A Mother's Love Childcare in 2008.
